Postings* Do I need to Post?
California State and Federal Labor Law Posters Yes. The State of California and the Federal Government require all employers to post state and federal labor law postings in each facility where employees and applicants can view them.
Industrial Welfare Commission Yes. Every California employer is required to post the Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC) order that pertains to its specific industry classification.
California Forklift Posting A required posting only if the employer owns, operates or maintains a forklift in the workplace.
No Smoking Posting A mandatory posting for all businesses in California. California Labor Code section 6404.5 (c) (1).

* Both the state and federal minimum wage posters must be posted, even though California's minimum wage is currently higher than the federal minimum wage. Other unique posters and notices may be required depending on certain circumstances such as heavy equipment or forklifts, chemical use and government contracts.
